School Board Race Heats Up
How often do you see that headline, Dear Readers?
Carolyn Edwards apparently alleged – via formal complaint to the Secretary of State’s office – that the campaign website of her District F opponent, Barbara Altman, had violated Nevada Revised Statutes and the Nevada Administrative Code by failing to dispel “the implication of incumbency.”
The Secretary of State’s office reviewed the matter and determined that Altman’s website was just fine, as explained in Ross Miller’s letter of determination:
Sounds to me like Edwards may be a little nervous about the threat to her seat. Why else would you try to challenge on technicalities and/or trivialities?
