I’m thinking hot dogs and generic soda may be all they can afford due to the sad state of Gibbons’ campaign coffers — but even if they could spring for champagne and caviar, it wouldn’t be fitting in these tough economic times.

And:  One wonders why Team Gibbons couldn’t dream up a more inspiring (or accurate) tag line than “We Are One Nevada.”  I don’t see much evidence of solidarity in and among Nevadans on many (any?) issues.  If I had to come up with a generic version of the comment I hear most often about the state of the state from both/either side, it would be something like:  “Yep, we’re pretty much screwed.”

Maybe Gibbons should go with a tag line like:  “Messing Up Nevada Less” or something.
